3 Sweet Holiday Marshmallow Treats

I'm not sure which I'm more obsessed with: a certain candy that's basically sweet, fluffy white pillows of heaven, or this festive time of year. And here's the good news--no reason to choose because we've rounded up a few holiday marshmallow recipes that are great for food gifts (or keeping all to yourself!) that celebrate both in the most festive and delicious of ways.

Peppermintmallows

Dress your marshmallows up in peppermint flavored swirls using a super simple technique, then toss them in some fresh powder (as in powdered sugar) for a fun, snowy presentation. I have it on pretty good authority that this little guys are pretty dynamite in a mug of hot cocoa. (Wink, wink.)

Chocolate-Covered Peppermint Marshmallows

Homemade marshmallows + chocolate + crushed candy canes = a treat you will intend on taking to a party, but after one bite, will decide to hoard all to yourself. (Just pick up some cookies at the store on the way to the party...no one ever has to know.)

Double-Decker Marshmallow Fudge

Bet you didn't think fudge could get any better. You'll never be so happy to be so wrong with these beauties. A layer of marshmallow batter on top of fudge makes for a holiday treat that's twice as delectable.
