A Few Slow Cooker Tips
1) Keep a lid on it. Removing the slow cooker’s lid to check on your food lets heat escape and drives up the cooking time.
2) For safety’s sake, use fully defrosted meat.
3) Low liquid is okay. The veggies in your soup and stew will release plenty as they’re cooked.
