I have a question, as of June 17th me and hubby will be the only ones left at home. I have spent the past 22 years cooking for 5 + people. Well youngest son graduates and leaves for Marine Corp so that leaves me and hubby…I do not know how to cook for just 2 people..any help tips..suggestions..would be greatly appreciated..I love making soups , stews, casserols, etc..but just dont know how much of anything to use..I am pretty sure we would only use like a can of corn, or green beans…but how to make chili..soups.,,etc…do you understand or am I being as clear as mud? any help, tips appreciated..
Hi lilrosie, I cook all that stuff for just the two of us all the time. I only make big batches of stuff that will freeze well in perfect servings for two with maybe enough for a lunch as well. Chili, stew and most soups freeze well. So does lasagna and spaghetti sauce. Steaks left over can be used for many things like tacos or sandwiches. Hope this helps :)
