In today’s newsletter, in a recipe entitled “Seven Ingredient Tomato Sauce”, a comment was added complaining that the recipe actually had 9 ingredients and giving a rating of 1. I really object to this and wrote a comment to the effect that the rating should pertain to the results of making the recipe. However, I could not post it without a rating, which I didn’t want to give, not having made the recipe. I believe that this rating should not be counted, as it is not fair. The recipe itself appears to be a reasonable tomato sauce recipe, deserving perhaps a 4. Is there a way to make such a request? Sometimes I would like to have a rating removed when the review has clearly been added to the wrong recipe.
i agree- i was slightly agitated when i saw the 7 ingredients was actually 9. made me not really want to save and try it just because i have submitted my recipes over and over- only to be waiting 5+ months and nothing published, since they all have to be ‘reviewed’… and then this one WAS published after supoosid ‘review’ with a title that does not fit it and is misleading. regardless if it has a great review or not- the first thing i read was “7 INGREDIENT”… go on to read the recipe and it is more than 7 and also a process. i want to say something- but you can’t do so without rating it, and i am not about to give it a low rating just becaue AR got it wrong. so how does someone go about saying something without giving the recipe they haven’t tried a negative review???
