I came across a totally buried bag of steel cut oats while cleaning out my pantry. They are 4 years old (I remember the bag because I bought it in Amish Country). Must have forgotten about them since we’ve eaten plenty of steel cut oats in the last 4 years! They look fine and smell fine. Keep or pitch? Everything I’ve read about them going bad says they smell rancid if they are bad. Thoughts?
