I am looking for a wet burrito recipe that will taste like the ones served at the Beltline Bar in Grand Rapids, MI. Or barring finding one that tastes like the Beltline version, a recipe for a wet burrito served at the Old Timers Tavern in Sunfield, MI. I have tried some other wet burrito recipes and nothing has come close to either one of those yet.
Any help is appreciated.
I have never been there or had those so have no idea what they taste like. Have you had a Taco Bell Enchirito? Does the sauce you want taste anything like that? I make my Enchiritos (wet burritos) at home and use 1 7.5 oz bottle of Taco Bell Hot Sauce and 1 small can of tomato sauce simmered together. Taco Bell Hot sauce is sold at Super Wally World and just recently I saw it in Tom Thumb as well. Maybe this will be close enough or you could spice it up???
Sidewinder – I don’t have a recipe, but I see you are from Michigan. I am too and I just wanted to pass on an amazing Mexican restuarant. It is in Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor border. Look it up – trust me, you won’t be disappointed!!!!! Pacific Beach Burritos on Washtenaw Road. If you feel like taking a ride – you HAVE to try it! Tell them Ashley sent you :) Enjoy!!!
