Fav steak side, broiled tomatoes. Cut in half, place on foil (edges folded to hold liquid)place on broiler pan. Add a little salt and pepper and a couple T’s of brown sugar on top. Add a 1/4-1/3 cup of water to the foil. Broil till toms are softened and sugar is caramelized but not burnt. Top with a pat of butter before serving. I serve the water sugar juice over top. Even better if you have really garlic-y garlic bread to go with.
