My step son is moving out in a week !!!! As happy as I am, I wanna put together a chef cabinet for him . He loves to cook and is starting from nothing…….I wanna get him a going away gift with the basics …. What are some of the basis in your cabinets (ie spices, vinegars, oils, etc.)
Do you have the tiny containers of Tone’s spices in your area? I love to buy those. They might be more expensive by the ounce but they are reasonably prices (about $1, on sale) and are still a good purchase for spices you don’t use that much or that you want to try for a certain recipe. And they would be good starters!

Salt & peper mill, w/ peppercorns,
kosher salt, for spices, allspice, parsley, oregano, basil, chili powder, cinnamin, Vanilla, in the pantry, canned tomatoes, soups, Bar B que sauce, chicken & beef stock, pasta, coffee,bread crumbs, paper products, paper plates, dishwashing soap, sponges, tissues, laundry detergent, soap, Peanut butter & jelly,sugar, rice, mac & cheese, zip loc bags, and of course his favorite recipes from mom!
