Left over Roast Beef – diced or can use Chicken or Corned Beef – shredded
4 large Tatties (Potatoes) – partially boiled and sliced
1 Onion – thinly sliced
1 tbsp Dripping (from cooked beef) or Lard
A wee touch of Beef Stock
Salt and Pepper
Add a wee bit of lard to a pot and gently cook the onions until soft;
Add the beef or other and salt and pepper.
Layer over with tattie slices and cover with the stock to taste (depending on how moist you prefer the meal);
Suggestion – add a wee bit and top up as required.
Simmer on the hob for about an hour or cook in the oven at 190c/380f/gas 5 for about 50 minutes.
