I’ve made this before and it was eaten up. However, I’d asked hubby to put the mixture in my large slow cooker. However, it’s not as creamy as I thought it should be, and it’s starting to brown around the edges. Can I stir in some milk, then bake the casserole in a 9×13 so it’s evenly browned? I’m kinda thinking “why not” but I need encouragement. TIA!
