I need to get new baking/cookie sheets, all of my cookies and pizza’s etc end up with the bottom browning way too fast. Does anyone have a favorite brand or type of pan that they use? Thank you in advance for your suggestions and feedback!
The kind with two layers and a space in between, Airbake, are excellent for just this purpose. They are quite a bit more expensive, so I use the one I have for baking only cookies. I have a few other cheap ones for other purposes.
Stones are good for pizza and cookies, as well. Again, they are a little expensive, so I use mine for pizza and cookies only.
I’m “older” and have found that it is less expensive to invest in a few more pricey items and use them carefully to use for many years. This includes storing them in a separate place from others of the same kind so that if people use them in my absence (i.e., husband, children), my investments don’t get ruined. And my blood pressure doesn’t go up.
