What is Burrata Cheese?

First of all, burrata means buttered in Italian, which tells you a lot.

Just imagine a skin of mozzarella wrapped around a lush core of cheese curds and fresh cream to form a soft, pliable ball. Slice into it and all the ooey gooey goods spill out, ready to make everything that much more fabulous. And just like the butter its named for, burrata pairs well with sweet and savory dishes alike. Just look at all the delicious mischief you can get up to with burrata.
