For all of those kids—young and old—who have always felt slightly shafted by having a summer birthday (no classroom celebrations, no one can come to your party because they’re on vacation—ugh), it’s redemption time. Your sweet, sweet reward comes in the form of an insanely decadent-looking funfetti cake, slash cheesecake, slash gift from the heavens that surely has to be one of the most delicious ways to celebrate another year on the planet.
The Cheesecake Factory is giving us a preview of funfetti things to come on July 30, which just so happens to be National Cheesecake Day. (You don’t suppose they planned it that way, do you??) They’re calling it the Celebration Cake, because obviously, this cake is ready to party. I mean, check out all those layers! Their original cheesecake, upon vanilla cake, upon chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry mousse, upon cream cheese. And then confetti sprinkles top the whole thing off.
And when you buy a slice, you’re not just getting a mouthful of yum, you’re contributing to a good cause. For every slice sold from July 30 through August, 25 cents gets donated to Feeding America, an organization working to end hunger in the United States. So it’s going to taste good and feel good. Now that’s a reason to celebrate!
