It’s non-dairy, too.
While the grocery store aisles are filling up with pumpkins and pecans, Halo Top already has us thinking about jingle bells and expertly-wrapped gifts. That’s because the brand, which is adored for low-cal ice cream treats, just launched their newest winter seasonal flavor, Chocolate Peppermint Crunch.
The new frozen dessert is both vegan and dairy-free because it’s made with coconut milk. The rise of non-dairy desserts is welcome news to people who avoid dairy ice cream (for allergies or intolerances) but still adore the creamy, cool treat and want a scoop every now and then.
Chocolate Peppermint Crunch is “loaded with peppermint candy pieces” in a rich and chocolaty peppermint frozen dessert base, a spokesperson for the brand confirmed.
And if you needed another festive fact, the whole pint is just 320 calories. Look for the new flavor in stores now through December, or as supplies last.
